How long will it take for me to receive my box?

Each box is curated by hand, so it’s definitely worth the wait. Orders are shipped within 2 to 5 business days and are delivered within 5 to 8 days in the Netherlands. Delivery times for international orders may vary.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Delivery times depend on your location.

How is my box packaged?

Each box is carefully and securely packed to ensure your vinyl records arrive in perfect condition.

Products

Are the vinyl records new or secondhand?

All of our vinyl records are secondhand, but they are professionally inspected for quality to ensure they sound great and are in perfect condition.

What if I already have one of those records?

No problem! Send it back for free, and we’ll find another album that suits your taste just as well.

Are the product images exactly the albums I will receive?

No, the images are for illustrative purposes only. Each box is put together uniquely, so the exact albums may vary.

Subscriptions

What are the subscription options and prices?

We offer the following subscription options:

  • 1 month — €44.95
  • 3 months — €42.25 per month
  • 6 months — €39.95 per month
  • 12 months — €37.45 per month
  • Quarterly — €44.95 per quarter

Each subscription includes 3 carefully selected vinyl records at a time, based on your personal musical taste.

When does my subscription start?

Monthly subscription: Orders placed before the 15th of the month begin on the 1st of the following month. Orders placed on or after the 15th begin on the 1st of the month after that. You will receive a confirmation email with your start date.

Quarterly subscription: Your subscription begins as soon as you sign up. From that moment on, you’ll receive a new box every quarter, always filled with 3 carefully chosen records, personally selected based on your taste.

How does the subscription work?

Sign up and tell us about your musical tastes. We’ll then select three used vinyl records each time based on your personal preferences and send them directly to your home.

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription after the minimum subscription period has expired:

  • 1 month — cancel after 1 month
  • 3 months — cancel after 3 months
  • 6 months — cancel after 6 months
  • 12 months — cancel after 12 months
  • Quarterly — cancel after 1 quarter

What is the minimum subscription period?

The minimum term depends on the subscription you choose:

  • 1 month — minimum of 1 month
  • 3 months — minimum of 3 months
  • 6 months — minimum of 6 months
  • 12 months — minimum of 12 months
  • Quarterly — minimum of 1 quarter

After the end of the period you selected, your subscription will continue until you cancel it via your customer portal

If your music preferences change during your subscription, you can always send us an email at info@thevinylbasement.com. We’ll update your preferences for you.

How do we personalize your box?

When you place an order, you’ll enter your music preferences, favorite genres, artists, and mood. Our team uses this information as a starting point to select records that are a perfect fit for you.

Can I request specific albums?

No, we can't guarantee specific albums, but we use your preferences as a guide to find records you'll love.
