Return Policy – The Vinyl Basement
Cooling-off period
At The Vinyl Basement, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it. This period starts on the day you, or a person designated by you (other than the carrier), receive the package.
Return conditions
Returns are only accepted if the Mystery Box is unopened and sealed. Once the seal has been broken and the contents are visible, the right of return expires.
Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Since our LPs are second-hand, light wear on the cover or vinyl cannot be a reason for return, unless a record turns out to be unplayable.
Duplicate in your collection
If, after opening your Mystery Box, you discover that one of the LPs is already in your collection, you may return that record free of charge. In this case, we cover the return shipping costs and provide a replacement LP of equal value.
Please report this within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing info@thevinylbasement.com, including your order number and details of the duplicate LP.
Return costs
Return shipping costs are generally at your own expense, except when you are returning an LP that you already own (as described above).

After approval, you will receive return instructions from us.
Pack the product carefully and send it back following the given directions.
After receiving and checking the return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days or send a replacement LP.
Exceptions

Opened or damaged Mystery Boxes cannot be returned.
