The monthly vinyl subscription from The Vinyl Basement sends you three second-hand LPs every month, hand-picked from a taste profile you fill in yourself. You tell us which genres, artists and vibe you like, and what you would rather not get, so your collection grows in a direction that suits you.

  • Every month: 3 second-hand LPs and our printed music magazine with the story behind each record
  • Personal: chosen from your taste profile (genres, artists, vibe and dislikes)
  • Terms: choose a minimum term of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. A longer term has a lower monthly price
  • Condition: always VG+ (Very Good Plus): light signs of play at most, plays cleanly. Every record is checked by hand
  • Duplicate record? Return it for free and we send a different album
  • Cancelling: the subscription continues until you cancel. After the minimum term you can cancel through the customer portal or by email
  • Shipping: free within the Netherlands

When does my subscription start?

Orders placed before the 15th of the month will start on the 1st of the following month. Orders placed on or after the 15th will start on the 1st of the month after that. You'll receive a confirmation email with your start date.

Duplicate record? No problem.

Got a duplicate? Send it back for free and we'll handpick a different album that fits your taste just as well.

Personalized to your taste

Tell us your favourite artists and genres. We use that as our starting point, not a shopping list. Our team digs through hundreds of second-hand vinyl records to find albums that feel right for you. Not just what you already know, but music you didn't know you needed. Every personalized vinyl box is a little journey into your own taste.
